Events
The community's calendar, with online, in-person or hybrid events, an address on the map, RSVPs, live streaming via YouTube, Vimeo or Mux, email reminders and ticket sales.
The Events module organizes the calendar: live sessions, workshops, mentoring sessions, in-person meetups, conferences. Each event has its own page with the date, location, hosts, who's going and, if it's online, the stream.

RSVPs
On the event page, each member responds and is marked as Registered, Interested or Not Attending. The staff sees the list of attendees. After the event, the page shows "This event has ended" and, for each attendee, "You attended this event".
Live streaming
For online events, the organizer opens Manage Stream:
- Chooses the Streaming Platform: YouTube, Vimeo or Mux.
- Pastes the Stream URL (on YouTube, the link or the video ID).
- Save URL, to have it ready, or Save and Start, when the live session is already on air.
Once the stream has started, the page shows "Streaming now" and Watch Live, and members watch right there. Stop Stream ends it.

Lists
The space separates Upcoming and Past and highlights the Featured Event. Events also show up in the Feed.

Step by step
Create an event
Role: moderator, admin or owner.
- In the Events space, Create Event.
- Event Title, Description, Event Type and Target Audience.
- Event Format; for in-person or hybrid, Search address... and pick the location.
- Start Date, Start Time, End Date, End Time.
- The images.
- Visibility, Organizers and Hosts.
- Create Event.
Delete
Role: admin or owner.
In the event's menu, Delete event, then tick "I confirm I want to delete this event". Attendees and comments go with it.
Selling tickets
- Create a one-time product (the ticket), with Control Stock? for the number of places.
- Set the event's space to Private, with the product under Who gets in › Products.
- Whoever buys gets into the space and RSVPs to the event.
The RSVP is still done by the person: buying the ticket unlocks the space; it doesn't register them automatically.
Examples
A weekly live session. A Live sessions space (Members, Staff). Every Tuesday, an Online event of type Livestream, with the YouTube URL saved beforehand and Save and Start at showtime.
The coworking happy hour. An In Person event with the house's address; residents RSVP and get the reminder 1 hour before.
Common errors and how to fix them

Frequently asked questions
Can I repeat an event every week? There's no recurrence: create one event per date.
Does live chat work? Stream chat is on its way ("Chat coming soon"); for now, the conversation happens in the comments.
